MARLIN FIREARMS COLLECTION, PRIMITIVES, HORSE BITS, GENERAL
ANTIQUES AND MANY UNUSUAL ITEMS
Jim King was a nationally known collector and trader in the Blue
ridge area. He was an avid Marlin Firearm collector. His collection
will be offered at public auction in two sessions. Locations are a
half of a mile of each other.
Session One 10:00 am (Preview 9:00) - The Marlin collection and
other firearms will now be sold at the trading post
Session Two-12:00 (Preview 11:30)- This sale will be conducted at
his trading post in downtown Chilhowie on Highway 11(Lee Highway)
across from the New People Bank. The sale will consist of his large
horse bit collection, knives, axes, Gun safe, primitives, saddles,
military items, display cabinets, large seafood and beer stain
glass windows, powder horns, license plates, tools, Indian and
cavalry items, cast iron, cowboy items, military items,
advertising, and more.
